Metagenics Thermophase Detox Essentials is a comprehensive liver and cellular detoxification powder combining conjugating amino acids, milk thistle, green tea and a full activated B vitamin complex with a low-reactive pea protein base — supporting all major phase II detoxification pathways, gut barrier integrity, LPS reduction and protection against reactive toxins.
Key Ingredients
- Glutamine & Cysteine: Two critical conjugating amino acids supporting gut barrier function and phase II detoxification — glutamine helps protect gut integrity and reduce mucosal permeability while cysteine is a direct precursor to glutathione, the body's master antioxidant and a primary substrate for phase II glutathionation
- Taurine: A key conjugating amino acid supporting multiple phase II detoxification pathways including amino acid conjugation and methylation — taurine and the TCM herb gardenia work together in this formula to support liver Kupffer cell activation and promote elimination of wastes via bile and urine
- Milk thistle (standardised to silybin): A premier hepatoprotective herb — silybin inhibits beta-glucuronidase activity to assist elimination of metabolites conjugated through phase II detoxification, while supporting the detoxification capacity of liver cells against reactive toxic insult

Directions
Adults: Add 1 level scoop (19g) to 200mL of water twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Warnings
- Stop taking this medication if you experience tingling, burning or numbness and see your healthcare practitioner as soon as possible. [Contains vitamin B6]
- Contains zinc which may be dangerous if taken in large amounts or for a long period. This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
- Contains phenylalanine.
- Contains 21mg total caffeine per 19g dose. A cup of instant coffee contains approximately 80mg of caffeine. Caffeine intake more than 200mg per day is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Sweetened with steviol glycosides.
- If symptoms persist consult your healthcare professional.
- Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
