Metagenics Bactrex delivers enteric-coated Oregano, Clove and Thyme essential oils with Phellodendron bark — traditionally used in Chinese medicine to maintain upper intestinal health — in a targeted soft capsule designed for small intestinal release to provide antimicrobial support and maintain upper gastrointestinal health.

• Origanum vulgare (Oregano) leaf essential oil: A potent antimicrobial essential oil supporting upper intestinal health and inhibiting bacterial adhesion to erythrocytes and epithelial cells — delivered via enteric coating for targeted small intestinal release
