MediHerb Broncafect Phytosynergist is a practitioner-formulated liquid herbal formula traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support respiratory tract health and comfort.
Key Ingredients
- Licorice root: Soothes and protects irritated respiratory mucous membranes, helping to reduce inflammation and ease congestion throughout the airways.
- Pleurisy root: A traditional Western respiratory herb used to help loosen and clear bronchial mucous and support comfortable breathing during chest colds.
- Echinacea angustifolia root: The deep-acting prairie echinacea, used to support immune response and help reduce the severity and duration of common cold symptoms.
- Thyme herb: A key respiratory herb in Western herbal medicine, used to relieve bronchial spasm, reduce congestion and support clearance of excess phlegm.
- White horehound herb: Traditionally used to relieve persistent cough and reduce bronchial mucous, complementing the other respiratory herbs in this formula.
Directions
Adults: Take 5 mL with water or juice 3 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner

Warnings
- Caution in pregnancy
- Contains alcohol
- Not to be used in children under two years of age without medical advice
- Contraindicated in hypertension (including hypertension during pregnancy), oedema and in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics
- Ginger should be used cautiously in patients taking antacids (may decrease the effectiveness as ginger increases gastric secretory activity)
- Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced diet
